To print your layered pattern with precision, start by using the latest version of Adobe Reader. Opening your PDF in Adobe Reader is crucial for accurate printing; web browsers may cause formatting issues.

Once your file is open, navigate to the layers tool found in the left-hand menu. It's represented by an icon resembling stacked sheets. This tool allows you to toggle between different size layers, making it easier to focus on your preferred size while hiding the rest.





Each size typically corresponds to a separate layer, alongside a layer containing fixed elements like test squares and pattern details. By selecting and deselecting layers, you can customize your view, saving both printer ink and reducing visual clutter.

How to print the layered pattern – only the layers you want

After configuring your layers, proceed to print by selecting File and then Print from the top menu. Ensure you've chosen "Actual Size" to maintain pattern proportions. Avoid options like "Fit to Page" or "Shrink Oversized Pages" to prevent distortion.
